Andrew F. Leuchter, MD

Andy (Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer) directs all scientific and clinical activities at BBA-Health. He also holds a faculty position at UCLA as a Professor of Psychiatry at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior and Director of the Laboratory of Brain, Behavior, and Pharmacology. As a practicing psychiatrist and board certified electroencephalographer, he has unique expertise for integrating neurophysiologic measures into clinical trials and developing biomarkers to inform diagnostic and treatment decisions. An internationally recognized expert on the treatment of mood disorders, he is the author of over 100 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Dr. Leuchter also maintains an active clinical practice, specializing in consultation for and care of patients suffering from treatment-resistant depression. Dr. Leuchter is a graduate of Stanford University, received his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and performed his residency and fellowship training at UCLA before joining the faculty.

Chip Goodman

Chip (Co-Founder and CEO) is a third generation serial entrepreneur who started at age 12 in a family food business, then created several companies focused on child nutrition and point of sale terminals in the highly regulated K-12 school environment. He has extensive experience leading teams to develop enterprise software and data analytics platforms for the education, financial, and healthcare applications. Chip also founded two non-profit organizations linked to UCLA, including one that is developing a healthcare case management software platform and another to teach entrepreneurial skills to high school students (ProjectEcho.org).

Jason Jolly

Jason (Chief Operating Officer) manages the day-to-day activities for BBA-Health. He has an extensive background in product development and operations across multiple industries and organizations. He spent the first decade of his career leading hardware and software product development teams at Hewlett-Packard’s Imaging & Printing Group in San Diego, Singapore, and Israel, and then transitioned to the medical industry in marketing and executive roles at Abbott Laboratories, the Sports Concussion Institute, and the UCLA Business of Science Center. Jason earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, focusing on healthcare and entrepreneurship
